At least 6 people have died in the country due to dengue in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 1,248 people have been hospitalized due to dengue.

A total of 277 people have died of dengue across the country this year.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) announced this information in a press release on Sunday afternoon.

It said that in the last 24 hours, one death was reported in Dhaka North City, one in South City, 4 deaths in Dhaka Division, and one each in Barisal and Rangpur Divisions.

A total of 56,911 people have been hospitalized due to dengue this year in the country, of which 32,933 are outside Dhaka.

Currently, 3,984 dengue patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the country, of which 2,045 are outside Dhaka.
